How to use

Usual starting dose:
- 1 sachet daily for children aged 1 to 6 years
- 2 sachets daily for children aged 7 to 11 years
The dose should be adjusted up or down as required to produce regular soft stools. If the dose needs increasing this is best done every second day.
For children below 2 years of age, the maximum recommended dose should not exceed 2 sachets a day. For children aged 2 to 11 years, the maximum recommended dose needed does not normally exceed 4 sachets a day.

Side Effects & Cautions
- Allergic Reaction: Some people may have an allergic reaction to Fybogel which can result in a rash, itching, or difficulty breathing.
- Gastrointestinal Disorders: Some users may experience bloatedness, wind, or obstructive symptoms.
- Choking hazard: Fybogel can potentially cause choking if not mixed with enough water or liquid.
- Drug interactions: It might interact with certain medications, particularly those that should not be taken with high amounts of fiber. Always consult your healthcare provider before use.
- Not for certain patients: People with phenylketonuria, intestinal obstruction, or hypersensitivity should not take Fybogel.
- Not immediate effect: It may take a few days before Fybogel starts to work.
- Always remember to take it exactly as directed by your healthcare provider.
- Do not use if you have a bowel obstruction or are allergic to any of the ingredients.
- Avoid use if you have difficulty swallowing or have phenylketonuria.
- Drink plenty of water when taking this medication.
- Do not take immediately before going to sleep.
- This product may not suitable for children under 12.
- Consult a doctor if your symptoms worsen or do not improve after 3 days.
- Choking can happen if you take Fybogel without adequate fluid.
- It might affect the absorption of other medicines.
- Do not take more than directed. It may cause bloating and gas.
- It is intended for short term use. If need for extended period, consult healthcare professional.
- Pregnant or breastfeeding women should consult a healthcare professional before using.
